For every child of Christ, there is a Raven!

Provision

Many a times in our lives we think that the Lord of heaven has forgotten about us! How deceiving our minds are at times! I said that because of a personal experience I had on my way to the Ukraine to teach a group of Pastors. At that time I was living in El Paso, Texas and had started my refinishing business. I did not have much money but had believed that Jesus would provide”.  Also, I had been in the Ministry teaching his word (a little more than 17 years) to whoever wanted to hear his message that He had shared with me in a Vision. The message was and still is “The Intimacy of Fellowship!

I was told by the people who were hosting the School, to bring enough food for a month, because there was a shortage, and that food would make up the difference. Well, I thought since I had a duffle bag (military suitcase for soldiers) I would fill it up with beanie weenies and other can goods to secure my food supply. Well, I arrived at the airport in Dallas, around 4 a.m.  My flight didn’t leave until 8:30 a.m. I decided to check in early to beat the rush. I greeted the ticket agent and I gave her my passport and other I.D. then she told me to put my luggage (I had three bags) on the scale and very proudly I did. Well she said to me, the first two (which were my clothes) were maxed out with the weight, and then she said to me, Mr. Davis you cannot take the third one, because you will be over your allowed limit for baggage. At that moment my eyes crossed and I went deaf with fear and anger and the Glory of the Lord Departed at the same time. What was I to do? I thought inwardly. I asked her to check it again and she told me the same thing. The phone rang and she began talking to the person on the line and at that time also, she began to cry! I thought to my self what was wrong? Later, after the call, I asked her why was she crying and she told me that her daughter and granddaughter were left alone and they had not eaten in four days. At that moment the Spirit of Christ told me to give her my food. I thought surely that this was not Jesus, because He told me to buy this food.

I had always wanted Jesus to use me as he had used the great men and women of the Old and New Testaments, but this was neither the time nor the place! Finally, reluctantly, I told her she could have what was in the bag. Of course she thanked me, then she changed my seating from coach to first class. When we arrived in Atlanta, Georgia, I was asking Jesus how I was going to survive without food.  There was no response from Him, but at the same moment, a tall woman with blondish hair touched me on the shoulder and looked me in the eyes and said, Our Father sent me to give this to you, never doubt, just believe. She reached into her purse and gave me a check for a $1,000.00 and walked out of my life, never to be seen nor heard from again.

I stood there amazed, and with tears in my eyes, I thanked Him from my heart and said within, for every child of Jesus, there is a Raven sent from heaven, to provide you with the means to accomplish His goals in your life!  Do not doubt, only believe!
